It was precisely by focusing on these characteristics that the first Salento cycle routes were designed: the Ciclonica, along the Ionian coast, known for its sunsets, and the Ladriatica, on the eastern coast, known for its sunrises.

Salento.Bike is the app that will help you discover Salento through cycling, focusing on routes along the extraordinary network of secondary and rural roads that preserve the most authentic side of this land, its history, nature, and flavors. Cycle routes: Ciclonica is a 300-km circular route that starts in Lecce and heads along the Ionian coast, crossing six natural parks and protected areas. Its five loops also allow for easy day trips.

Ladriatica is also a 230-km circular route along Italy's easternmost region, the eastern coast of Salento, passing through the heart of the Costa di Otranto – Santa Maria di Leuca and Tricase Forest Park. Here, too, six loops allow for day trips with visits to the most authentic stretches of Salento's hinterland.

A link road between Leuca and Ciclonica connects the two routes for those who want to circumnavigate the entire Salento region.
