About this app
The VideoguideLIS for the Norman village and castle of Squillace in the province of Catanzaro was developed to allow deaf people to visit and learn more about the history of the village and the castle.
With VideoguideLIS deaf people can discover and deepen their knowledge of places during their visit.
Thanks to more than 60 videos translated into Italian Sign Language, it is also possible for the Deaf to visit Squillace with the right insights.
In the photo gallery you can find numerous panoramic images of the Norman Castle and the tourist village but also the details of the jewels and kits found in the necropolis.
All topics are translated into LIS in numerous videos with accompanying text.
It was designed with the collaboration of the archaeologist Chiara Raimondo, who excavated and studied the archaeological site of the castle, and with the adaptation of the texts by Rosanna Pesce.
