About this app

Condomini + 4.0 is the ENEA application able to measure the energy-structural vulnerability of condominium buildings. The application - developed by the Agency for Energy Efficiency and the Laboratory for Earthquake Engineering and Natural Hazard Prevention and carried out as part of the Italian National Class A Energy Efficiency Campaign - is a tool available to the technicians of the sector and has a dual purpose: to guide users in the energy and structural survey of the building by analyzing the critical issues. The application will make a comparison between the real consumption of the building and the benchmark of the reference energy needs for residential buildings, assigning to the building a class of merit both of consumption for heating and for those of electricity (classifying the school as good / sufficient / insufficient).

The information is subdivided by type into three distinct sections:

• general data such as the location of the building, the type of building, the state of maintenance of the plants;

• structural survey to define the main characteristics of the building and the area where it is located;

• energy survey to define the main energy characteristics of the building, plants and services.

Within these sections are present all the various aspects to be detected, grouped in graphic form by means of icons and by type of data to be inserted. By compiling the input data required in the various sections of the application, the following are obtained as final results:

• the survey report made in editable format (complete with photos and references to project drawings analyzed during inspection);

• the level of the Energy merit class (for heating and electricity) and the list of interventions necessary to improve its performance;

• the Level of Intervention and the Priority Level, highlighting critical situations from a structural point of view and allowing a first assessment of the intervention priorities;

• a report in .DOCX format that contains all the data of the survey carried out; to view the relevant report, a DOCX file viewer must be installed on the device;

• a file in XML format containing all the information entered by the technician, which will be used by ENEA to create a strategic planning IT platform for the implementation of safety measures and energy redevelopment for the condominiums and that will allow to identify the areas with greater need for interventions.

The reports, both the report and the interchange file, reproduce the forms filled in with the data entered by the person in charge of the diagnosis and contain both the structural and energy information of the building, and identify all the improvement interventions of the necessary condominium buildings.

Condominiums + 4.0, in a sustainable key, will not limit itself to indicating the possible and sustainable technological retrofit solutions on existing buildings according to current regulations, but will also provide indications on how to set up the next project in a single project for the recovery of the existing one. structural; this of course according to the different territorial, environmental and climatic hazards.
