Verìd reads the data from the Italian Electronic Identity Card (CIE 3.0) by holding it close to your phone, using the NFC chip and the secure PACE protocol—the same used by official systems.
Two ways to unlock the chip
• CAN—the 6 digits printed on the front of the card
• Scanning the MRZ—focus your camera on the 3 lines on the back, without typing anything
What you read
• Personal data: first name, last name, gender, date and place of birth, tax code, residence
• Document data: number, issue and expiration dates, authority
• Photo of the holder
Privacy first
The read data remains on your device. Verìd does not store it or send it to any server unless you explicitly configure a webhook (a feature designed for corporate integrations).
For companies
From the admin panel, you can configure a webhook to which the read data can be sent, with an optional token that can be activated and deactivated with a tap.
Technology
ICAO 9303 (eMRTD) compliant reading, PACE authentication, JPEG2000 photo decoding. Light, dark, or automatic theme.
Verìd requires a CIE 3.0 and an NFC-enabled phone.
