It was born from the experience of skilled hands who have passed down artisanal tradition and a passion for a generous land rich in flavor.
Francesco Trovato, a master pastry chef in Acireale, grew up in the workshops of Donna Niriana Marano and Costarelli, learning the ancient techniques of historic Sicilian confectionery.
In 1929, he opened his own pastry shop, which became one of Sicily's elite confectionery producers.
His marzipan carnations earned him a Cross of Merit of the Republic and the title of Commendatore.
The offering ranges from sweet and savory pastries, with a wide selection of express fillings and delicious toppings and sprinkles, to pizzas, focaccias, and salads.
The pleasure of typical Sicilian flavors and aromas comes from the use of locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, such as Vittoria cherry tomatoes, Maletto strawberries, Zafferana Etnea honey, and Barrafranca almonds.
