MetanApp is the travel companion for those who drive a natural gas (CNG) vehicle in Italy.
You specify your departure and destination, enter your car's range, and the app calculates the route by identifying CNG filling stations along the way: no more unexpected detours, phone calls to operators, or anxiety about "how far will I get to the next station?"
THE DIFFERENCE THAT MATTERS
Other apps tell you if a filling station is open now. MetanApp tells you if it will be open when you arrive: for each stop, it calculates your arrival time and cross-references it with the station's opening hours. If you leave at 6:00 a.m., that's the only information that really matters.

- View the price of CNG per kg, opening hours, and the open/closed status of each station
- Add, replace, or remove a stop and recalculate your route
- Open the complete itinerary in Google Maps with a tap
- Find the CNG filling stations closest to your location
- Choose when to depart: now or at a scheduled time
OFFICIAL DATA, UPDATED DAILY
Prices and stations come from open data from the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT) and are automatically updated daily. The list is also available offline: you can consult filling stations even in areas without coverage, where it is most needed.
