About this app
FieldOps is the app for technicians working off-site, and the other half of the management software the company uses in the office.
In the office, jobs are planned, technicians are assigned, customers, locations, inventory, and documents are managed. The technician finds exactly that on his phone: the jobs assigned to him, where to go, and what to do. When he closes them, the report is already in the office. No one needs to call anyone to find out the status of the job.
THE DAY AT A GLANCE
The Today screen shows the assigned jobs, sorted by stage, with time, customer, and address. The counters at the top filter the list: to do, done, all.
THE MAP TOUR
One tap and you see the day's route with the numbered stages. From there, you can navigate to the customer's location using your favorite app: Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze.
THE ON-SITE REPORT
Work done, problems encountered, hours, materials used. Photos and documents are attached, the contact person's signature is collected on the screen, and the job is completed. The document arrives in the office immediately, without any intermediate steps.
If the company activates them, the report can also be filled out by dictating it or taking a photo of the handwritten report: FieldOps reads it and fills in the fields. Without a network connection, it can still be filled out and sent: it starts automatically as soon as the connection is restored, with the app open.
CUSTOMER EQUIPMENT
Scan the QR code attached to the machine and its profile opens, with the data and job history.
CALENDAR
Weekly and monthly view: what's coming up in the next few days, and what's already been done in the past few months.
NOTIFICATIONS
Notifications are sent when a new job arrives or something changes during the day. They can be deactivated.
ELEVEN LANGUAGES
Italian, English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Albanian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Russian, and Chinese. Not all field technicians are Italian, and a report written in one language can be read in another in the office.
RESPECT THOSE WHO USE IT
FieldOps does not access the device's location or track technicians' movements. The coordinates you see are those of customer locations, entered from the office. The microphone only turns on while you dictate, and text reaches the office, never audio.
