WHEN TO GO, NOT JUST WHAT THE WEATHER IS
Mushrooms don't come up while it rains: they come up days later, if the temperature holds. MushScout looks back at up to a month of rain and temperature over YOUR spot and tells you what today is worth β and the next twelve days.
The score isn't a number out of nowhere. Underneath, it says why: how much trigger rain fell, how many days ago, what the temperature has done since. And when something is missing, it tells you what and how much: not "45 out of 100", but "12 mm fell, another 28 are needed".

Morels, chanterelles, king boletes, black trumpets, lion's mane, honey mushrooms, slippery jacks, milk caps and more. Each with its own rain, its own temperature and its own season: judging chanterelles like morels is the fastest way to pick the wrong day.
BUILT IN EUROPE, LEARNS YOUR WOODS
The forecast was first tuned on European forests. In North America your diary does even more of the work: log a few outings β the empty ones too β and it adapts to your own spots.
A SPOT YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO
Pick a spot on the map and the mushrooms you care about: the app shows how it's doing today and over the next days. It's an estimate made only from the weather, the elevation and the time of year β it uses nobody's spots or finds.
YOUR FORAGING JOURNAL
Log every find with GPS, photo and notes, and record your track even with no cell service. Every find keeps the weather of the days before it. Empty-handed outings count too β they teach the app when to stay home.
RAIN ON YOUR SPOT
When a real soaking hits one of your spots, you hear about it a week before the mushrooms do (Premium).
PLAN THE ROUTE THE NIGHT BEFORE
Tap the map where you want to go β the trailhead, the clearing, the ravine you climb β and the app gives you distance, elevation gain, the steepest stretch and hiking time, from the real terrain. The next morning the map guides you along the line you drew.
MAPS WITH NO CELL SERVICE
Download the area you need ahead of time. Deep in the woods the map is there, the track records and your finds are saved: everything syncs when you're back in range.
SAFE IN THE WOODS
Before you head out, the app writes a message saying where you park, where you hike and when to start worrying β you send it to whoever you choose. SOS prepares a text with your exact position, and one more tap calls 911. And the app takes you back to your car, offline too.
WITH FRIENDS
Go out together and see each other on the map, or challenge a friend to see who finds more. Your location is shared only during the outing.
AI IDENTIFICATION
Photograph a mushroom and the app suggests what it looks like. For the main species it also shows the dangerous look-alikes and the differences to check.
