About this app
geoHELP is a private app to request help in mountain and outdoor settings (Upper Susa Valley: Sestriere, Cesana Torinese and area). It does not replace 112 or public rescue: in immediate danger always call the emergency number.
Developed with the patronage of the Municipality of Sestriere, the Municipality of Cesana Torinese and Consorzio Turismo Sestriere (logos and links in the app).
Features
• Share accurate GPS location
• Send a HELP request by SMS to configured SOS numbers
• Optional MAN DOWN: fall/impact detection and automatic SMS after a cancellable countdown
• Optional medical data (PIN-protected) for rescue
• Map and useful links (Via Lattea, weather, webcams, AED map) in the Info tab
Requirements: Android, GPS on, mobile network, SMS capability.
