Legal gaming is the official app of the Customs and Monopolies Agency for the fight against illegal gaming and for the promotion of legal and responsible gaming.
Gioco Legale offers a range of functions with which the citizen can autonomously verify the legality of the gaming offer and, shortly, also be of support to the Agency by reporting alleged irregularities that they may personally encounter.
The features available are the following:
- Verification of the authorized network in the area by viewing the geo-referenced authorized establishments on the map.
- Verification of tickets for the purpose of checking the regularity of the game; players can verify that the bets have been played in duly authorized establishments and therefore are memorized in the gaming and control systems of the Customs and Monopolies Agency. For some types of game it is possible to check the status and outcome of the bet but not the amount won. If a bet is not registered in the Agency's databases, information will be presented to help the user identify any anomalies.
- Verification of authorized game times for machines with cash prizes (Slots and Videolottery). Local authorities have the right to limit play for these types of machines in certain time slots. For the municipalities that have communicated these limitations, the "Game legal" app provides the time slots in which gaming is authorized within their territory.
- Verification of the receipts participating in the extractions of the "Lottery of receipts" and consultation of their lottery codes.
- Game machine check: the function is available which, at the end of the dematerialisation process of the titles issued by the Agency on gaming machines without cash prizes, by scanning the QR-code affixed to the machines in place of the paper title, will allow the verification of the data relating to the same.
