About this app

Krypta is the digital safe for the things you don't want to entrust to anyone: card PINs, banking device codes, PUKs, passwords, and credentials. Everything stays on your phone, encrypted with your master password. No account, no server, no one can read your data—not even us.

ZERO-KNOWLEDGE, TRULY
The master password is never saved, not on the device or anywhere else. Krypta derives the encryption key from it with Argon2id, an algorithm designed to make brute-force attacks impossible even with dedicated hardware. The database is protected by SQLCipher (AES-256): if the password is incorrect, the vault simply won't open. There's no such thing as a "forgotten password": that's the price—and guarantee—of true security.

BIOMETRIC UNLOCK
Fingerprint or face to open the vault instantly. The key is stored in the Android Keystore, protected by the device's hardware and authorized only by your biometrics: it never leaves the secure chip unencrypted.

HOME WIDGET
The code you need, when you need it: from the home screen, select the item, confirm with your biometrics, and read or copy the code. The vault closes immediately afterward.

ENCRYPTED BACKUP ON GOOGLE DRIVE
An automatic backup with every change, saved in a private space in your Drive that no other app can see. The file is encrypted with the vault key before leaving your phone: Google only keeps unreadable data. Changing devices? Reinstall Krypta, enter your master password, and find everything.

DESIGNED FOR CODES, NOT JUST PASSWORDS
Each item can contain multiple labeled codes—for example, the PIN and PUK for the same SIM, or the PIN and device code for the same card—organized by category: card PINs, bank codes, credentials, other.
