About this app

Agrigenius Wine Grapes is a decision support system launched by BASF in collaboration with Horta. Through field sensors and various sources of information, Agrigenius collects complex data and simplifies them into alerts and useful advice to predict the risk related to the main pathogens of the vineyard.

Constant remote monitoring offers winegrowers and specialized technicians the opportunity to improve their decision-making processes on crop management, taking in consideration the characteristics of the vineyard. To meet the needs of all farmers and technicians, Agrigenius Wine Grapes is distributed in two different solutions, a web version (Agrigenius Wine Grapes PRO) with a field monitoring and data collection system and accurate forecasting models, and a webapp for smartphones and tablets (Agrigenius Wine Grapes GO). For further information in relation to access contact info.agrigenius@basf.com

The Agrigenius Wine Grapes GO app has been developed for smart use and easy consultation. By connecting to agrometeorological stations or based on satellite data, the app provides synthetic information, in the form of risk indices, on the development of problems caused by fungal pathogens and harmful insects and on the dynamics of treatment protection. With Agrigenius GO you can rely on an updated PPP database with all the technical characteristics that allow you to select the most suitable products for each specific application, also in relation to anti-resistance strategies. Thanks to the Register of Treatments with Agrigenius Wine Grapes it is possible to also keep track of all the operations carried out in the vineyard.

Why you should download Agrigenius Wine Grapes GO:
- you can have your vineyard under control 24 hours a day
- you can consult the weather forecast for up to 7 days
- you can monitor the disease and pest development in the vineyard
- you can predict and set the treatments to be used
- you can record and store the treatments performed
- you can assess the persistence of products based on time and rainfall
