ROOT — the roots go deep

An ancient tree. One mission: to send its roots ever deeper, through earth, rock, and ice, to the legendary Earth's Core.

ROOT is a game of strategy and growth "in reverse": no diggers, no spaceships—you are a root system. Every root you grow is permanent and becomes part of your network: the resources you find physically travel up the branches, drop by drop, to the surface.

🌱 HOW TO PLAY
• Touch a lit cell to grow the root.
• The deeper you go, the more each cell costs: THICKEN your branches to pay less.
• Drink the pools of water by growing into them: the sap drips up the network.
• Collect minerals and crystals: treasures travel up your roots.
• The TAP-BOOT pierces rock and ice, but you only have one: protect it.

🍂 A LIVING WORLD
• The seasons change every 45 seconds: generous spring, merciless winter.
• Parasites bite at the thin roots: banish them or armor yourself.
• Fungus spreads in the depths, water fights it.
• Your net illuminates the cave: where you can't reach, darkness remains.

🐾 THE QUEEN MOLE
Deep down, something senses your roots. First tremors, then an attack: defend yourself by pumping waves of sap from different branches. Defeat it and take the Heart.
