Test TOLC-B is the app for preparing for the Biology and Biotechnology entrance exam: simulations faithful to the CISIA test, quizzes by subject, and a study plan that tells you what to review every day.
SIMULATIVES LIKE THE REAL TEST
Same structure, same sections, same time per section. There's no going back between sections, just like the TOLC. At the end, you'll find your score, including penalties for incorrect answers (+1 correct, 0 not answered, -0.25 incorrect), and the English section is counted separately, just like the CISIA exams.
TOLC-B SECTIONS
- Basic Mathematics: 20 questions in 50 minutes
- Biology: 10 questions in 20 minutes
- Physics: 10 questions in 20 minutes
- Chemistry: 10 questions in 20 minutes
- English: 30 questions in 15 minutes (separate section, does not count)
WHAT YOU STUDY
Biology: biological molecules, cellular organization, Mendelian genetics and the genetic code, mitosis and meiosis, human and animal anatomy and physiology, plant biology, biodiversity and evolution, bioenergetics, ecology, biotechnology, and genetic engineering.
Chemistry: atomic structure and periodic table, reactions and stoichiometry, thermodynamics and kinetics, acids and bases, oxidation-reduction reactions, organic chemistry.
Physics: quantities and measurement, kinematics, dynamics, fluids, thermodynamics, electrostatics, waves, and magnetism.
Basic math: numbers, algebra, equations and inequalities, plane, solid, and analytic geometry, functions and graphs, probability and statistics.
QUIZ BY SUBJECT
Multiple-choice questions with explanations. You can practice a single topic instead of retaking the entire test.
