MycoMap is a platform dedicated to ecological mushroom forecasting and the collection of local data.

Every day, it processes weather conditions, forest habitats, and soil characteristics to estimate where conditions are most favorable for the growth of the main fungal species.

It's not just a map of findings: it's a tool that helps you interpret what's happening in the forest.

GROWTH CONDITIONS MAP

Consult an interactive map of Italy every day with a growth index between 0 and 5.

The calculations take into account:

• precipitation observed by the national weather radar
• minimum and maximum temperatures
• soil moisture and water retention capacity
• elevation, exposure, and slope
• forest type and tree cover
• specific ecological models for each species

Each area reacts differently to the same weather conditions. MycoMap transforms this complexity into simple information that can be accessed directly on the map.

AN EVER-GROWING MYCOLOGICAL DATABASE

MycoMap doesn't just generate forecasts.

The app integrates a constantly expanding archive of observations, findings, and ecological information collected in the field.

Each season contributes to enriching our knowledge of the habitats, growth periods, and behavior of fungal species.

The goal is to build one of the largest databases dedicated to the emergence of epigeal fungi and the relationship between fungi, climate, and territory.
