About this app

Mosaelia turns your photos into collages worth posting — and keeps every one of
them on your phone.

COMPOSE
• Layouts you choose, or layouts you describe: five sliders for density,
hierarchy, irregularity, symmetry and white space, across an editorial grid, a
controlled masonry and a scrapbook that leans and overlaps.
• Start at any shape: square, portrait, landscape, story, or a size you type in.
• Drag photos between frames, crop inside them, and nudge the dividers.
• Text with real typographic control — weight, spacing, outline, shadow, a box
behind it — and stickers, shapes and filters.
• Mosaic DNA reads the colours of your own photos and suggests a palette, a
background and text colours that agree with them.

ONE COLLAGE, EVERY SHAPE
• Keep the same project as several sets — 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 — each with its own
layout, so you can correct the story format without disturbing the square.
• Export the whole project in one go, one file per set.

MORE THAN ONE POST
• Carousels: compose across pages that swipe side by side, with guides that warn
you when something important sits on a seam.
• Profile grid: cut one picture into separate posts that tile into a mural on
your profile, numbered in the order you should publish them.

CUT THE SUBJECT OUT
• Lift a person or an object out of its background and let it break the frame.
• Refine the edge by hand with a brush when the automatic cut needs help.

YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS
• No account. No sign-in. No analytics and no crash reporting.
• Advertisements in two places only — the home screen and after an export,
never while you are editing — and a single purchase removes them for good.
• Photos you import are copied into the app's own storage and never uploaded.
• Exports reach your gallery only when you ask for them.
• Save a set as a file and open it again later, or on another device.

TWO THINGS WORTH KNOWING
• Cutting out a subject and checking for cut faces use Google's ML Kit, which
runs on your device. The first time you use them, Google Play services
downloads the model over your connection.
• Face detection finds *where* faces are so it can warn you that a page boundary
would cut one. It never identifies anybody, and nothing about a face leaves
your phone.

What’s new

Every screen now introduces itself the first time it is opened: a highlighted control, one line about it, and "Skip the tutorial" available throughout. Settings offers "Replay the tutorial" where it used to reset tips.

• The editor's tip cards are gone — their advice is in its tour instead.
• Play may ask you to rate the app after an export.
