This application allows you to read the stories of the collection "Once upon a time ... fairy tales" (published in 1882) by Luigi Capuano, master of Italian Verismo.

Fairy tales, written in a prose quickly, as simple as possible, rich choruses, chants and rhythms are perhaps the most happy Capuana. They do not arise from a Sicilian folk heritage interest and are not harvested as documents of folk psychology, but the result of the invention (Wikipedia).
