The Antas valley is a delightful corner of paradise, hidden in the mountains of the Fluminimaggiore area, rich in water, woods, game and minerals such as lead, iron and above all silver, in fact it is thanks to the presence of large quantities of this metal that Sardinia, since ancient times, was called the island with silver veins.
The territory of Antas was chosen by our ancestors as a place of habitation and prayer from many centuries before the birth of Christ. The first people who lived here are those of the Nuragici, a few centuries later the Carthaginians arrived and then the Romans.
