About this app

The Velocissimo RIDER App is one of the tools that support the Velocissimo software for managing takeout and home delivery at your pizzeria, fast food restaurant, sushi restaurant, pub, bar, or diner.

The App reduces home delivery times by providing a DIRECT service to customers who are waiting for their order and want to be updated as they expect their food to be delivered to their home or office as soon as possible.

The Velocissimo RIDER App is a tool that allows your delivery drivers to independently manage the assignment of home delivery orders.

Within the App, the delivery driver can:

1. Log in with their USERNAME and PASSWORD

This way, the App communicates seamlessly with the manager's VELOCISSIMO management software, which can track the deliveries made by each delivery driver.

2. View and associate ORDERS TO BE ASSIGNED
The Delivery Person independently assigns the first available order for Home Delivery. Specifically, the Delivery Person has all the order details within the App:
- Customer Name;
- Customer Telephone/Mobile Number (with CALL call-to-action - to contact the customer);
- Customer Address (with BROWSE call-to-action - to reach the customer's home as quickly as possible);
- Store Details: With the PICK UP AT feature, the Delivery Person can find the store where they can pick up the order (this feature is available for businesses with multiple stores);
- Order Details (where all the order details are listed).

3. View ORDER HISTORY
The Delivery Person can view the history of orders awaiting payment at the checkout.
Once the delivery person completes the check-in and check-out process at the restaurant's point of sale, the "paid" orders are automatically deleted from the Food Delivery App's history.

4. Background/foreground location tracking to provide the customer who placed the delivery order and/or the restaurant owner with the rider's current location.

The Velocissimo RIDER App is an important addition to the integrated software solution, the Velocissimo Management Software, for the complete and centralized management of a pizzeria, fast food restaurant, sushi restaurant, restaurant, pub, bar, or cafeteria.

The complete suite includes:

- The development of a customized app with the operator's brand, available for customers to order directly online;

- The Velocissimo Management Software included, which allows for counter sales, inventory management, table management, and order printing, receipts and invoices, management of outstanding items, tickets, and end-of-month invoices, bills of materials, and supplier orders;

Velocissimo Rider App, with which Delivery Drivers can independently manage Home Delivery, optimizing the time and resources of the Local.
