This app works great for bus tickets but is only ok for metro. We used it while traveling in Rome. Once you get on a bus, you activate tickets in the app. This was easy to do with our family of 6 storing all tickets on 1 phone However, when you activate this for the metro your phone displays a qr code and you get 2 minutes to scan through the turnstiles. Given that not all turnstiles have code reader and the stations have ticket machines, I would buy tickets at the station for metro

I have tried to buy a ticket multiple times with different cards, and it doesn't work. Can't believe this is the transportation app to buy tickets for a city like Rome, no wonder why their system transportation is a total chaos. In the end, I bought the tickets at my hotel office and had to pay double because when validated at the bus, it marked a different hour from the one I took it and when I was going to revalidate at the train station when continuing with my travel it said it was "expired"

It's nice that you can buy the tickets through the app, but I would have wished it will include more information about how to use the tickets. It's not clear from the beginning that there are only specific gates at the metro were you can scan the QR code and sometimes they are not working. Also, the NFC didn't work for us at all, only the QR code scanner. Also, sometimes it takes a wile to load the app if you're mobile data isn't on. Overall it's a good app, but more info would be nice.
