About this app

IU Mobile is a digital gateway for Indiana University students. It pulls together information and services from multiple systems to help current students navigate learning at IU from one native environment. In other words, it’s a personalized, custom experience for all IU audiences.

IU Mobile lets students get messages from the university, access updates and services on the main pages, or search for support. It pulls in content from Knowledge base, People, One.IU, and places information--so students are always up-to-date.

Ratings and reviews

I don't know why they updated it. The app was fine, but since the update I can't login to my email and they took away the "home page" so I have to search every time I login for what I want to do. It's tedious so having all the info on my home screen was easier than searching for it all the time. The button for "remember me for seven days" doesn't work, so I'm always having to receive calls and texts to login to my account. It's just bad since the update. Before the update it was probably 5 stars

the app is good when it decides to work. it gets stuck on the loading screen and won't open, making it impossible to do anything. the UI can be annoying, and the bus map works about 75% of the time. also when it has you log in and auto fill your info it bugs and has you manually enter it. if it does not work, dont include the auto fill feature

Most recent version is surprisingly useful. I had the app on my phone, only used it a few times since I downloaded it in 2019 for freshman year. But (this semester, fall 2021) I saw freshmen using it and it turns out to be pretty solid now, more easily usable and with convenient features like seeing your classes that I certainly find useful! Besides, IU hasn't been sending as many emails about things going on this year, so this will be my primary source of information.

• Student organizations has been fully overhauled, allowing you to manage your group memberships, RSVP to events, and more
• Bus status has more info about bus stops and arrival times, and now lets you save your favorite routes and stops
• Dining locations now have more info on opening hours
• Many design and accessibility improvements and fixes
