Àgora is a virtual training classroom developed by the Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine (CAMFiC), with the support of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Ministry of Health.
It is designed for tutors and tutors of specialized health training (FSE) who want to improve their teaching skills in a practical, reflective and motivating environment.
Through weekly cases and situations, users respond to simulated consultations from residents and receive feedback to continue progressing. The model is based on gamification, with points, badges and general ranking to encourage active learning.
The app includes four training itineraries, which are opened progressively:
Teaching methodologies — Tools and strategies to improve educational practice.
Competency skills — Resources to teach clinical and technical skills.
Emotion management — Prevention, detection and emotional self-care of the tutor.
Assessment — Methodologies for formative and summative assessment.
Each itinerary presents real cases, multiple choice questions and formative justifications. The avatars and visual elements provide a playful style, close and coherent with the identity of CAMFiC.
