About this app

There are various roses in the world, such as those related to the names of big actresses such as Queen Elizabeth, Ingrid Bergman, and Catherine Deneuve, and those with Japanese names such as Hope, Toast, and Ginsekai.
Why don't you make your own picture book of only such roses?

Jindai BaraColle is an application (baracolle) that collects photographs of 292 varieties of roses in the Jindai Botanical Garden in Chofu City, Tokyo.
It is a white pictorial book with no photos to record. Please visit the rose garden and take photos to complete the colorful picture book.

In the rose garden, each rose has a cultivar name tag. Touch the empty frame with the name in the app and touch the camera icon to take a picture.
The photo will automatically fill in the empty frame. You can also take and save multiple photos of the same type.
If you take pictures of all the varieties, you will have a very detailed picture book of roses that is unique in the world.

This app was developed as a joint demonstration experiment by Chiba Institute of Technology and the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association.
The app is free. You will never be charged.
