[Purpose of this study]
Hay fever is the most common allergic disease affecting about 30 million people in Japan.
It is expected to increase in the future. When hay fever develops, it causes allergic conjunctivitis and allergic rhinitis.
It is said that not only sleep disorders and QOL of daily life will decrease, but also productivity of work and school will decrease, and social costs will increase.
The cause of hay fever
1) Environmental factors such as various pollen and air pollutants such as PM2.5,
2) Lifestyles such as eating, smoking, and exercising,
3) It is said that epidemiological factors such as family history and age are related.
Due to the complex nature of these factors, previous studies have not revealed the combined contribution of each factor.
Against this background, in order to formulate personalized onset / prevention measures for pollinosis,
Utilizing smartphone applications, continuously collect pollen dispersal amount, air pollution distribution, lifestyle, hay fever symptoms, etc.
We planned this study because we wanted to clarify the contribution of multiple factors in pollinosis by analyzing big data.
