About this app

You can tell the photo is not right. FrameGrade tells you which part.

Pick a shot and five properties of the pixels are measured, each reported with the number behind it and what to change.

◆ What gets measured
• Exposure — how bright the frame actually is, and which way it is off
• Lost detail — how much of the image is pure white or pure black, holding nothing you can recover later
• Sharpness — how much definition the edges really have, so a soft frame is caught before you keep it
• Colour cast — how far the balance sits from neutral, and which way it leans: orange, blue, green or magenta
• Even lighting — whether one corner is sitting in shadow, and which one

◆ The number, then the fix
Every finding shows the measurement it came from. Underexposed by how much. Blurred to what degree. Which corner is dark and by what factor. Then a single line of what to do differently — steady the camera, drop a stop, set white balance to the light you are actually in.

◆ Measured, never guessed
There is no scoring, no model and no randomness anywhere. The same photo always gives the same answer, because every number is a direct property of its pixels.

◆ Useful before you keep the shot
Check a frame on the spot and reshoot while the moment is still there, or work through what you brought home and find out why one of them never looked right.

◆ Nothing leaves your phone
No account, no sign-in, no upload. Photos are read on your device, measured, and never written back, copied or sent anywhere.

Free to use, with ads. A single one-time purchase removes them - every measurement is free either way.
