About this app

[Important] As of June 30, 2026, we have discontinued new BANKIT account registration.

However, customers who have already registered can continue to use the service.


■BANKIT is an app-based prepaid card that provides various money-related services.

■No membership fee or annual fee!

■Shopping, ATM deposits and withdrawals, and more—all with just your smartphone!

With a variety of charging options including deferred payment, diverse payment methods beyond Visa, and ATM deposits and withdrawals, everything can be done with just your smartphone.


■Shop in various ways
You can shop using contactless payment (Google Pay), Visa payment, etc.

■Contactless payment (Google Pay)
You can register BANKIT with Google Pay, which allows you to easily use QUICPay+ at participating merchants by simply holding your smartphone over the reader.

■Visa payment
You can use it for online payments such as online shopping, app stores like Google Play, and paid streaming sites for music and games.

■ Various Charging Methods
You can charge your BANKIT account using Seven Bank ATMs, bank transfers, credit cards, and Smart Credit Cards. Credit cards and Smart Credit Cards have auto-charge functions.
You can also charge your BANKIT account using your banking app via Kotora Remittance.

■ Installment Payments and ATM Withdrawals with Smart Credit Cards
"Smart Credit Card (Shopping)" allows you to repay the charged amount in installments and use it for shopping.
"Smart Credit Card (Cash Advance)" also allows you to withdraw the charged amount from ATMs.
*Smart Credit Card is an app-based credit card issued within the app.
*Smart Credit Card use is subject to APLUS's prescribed screening process.
*Fees apply to installment payments and Smart Credit Card (Cash Advance).
*New applications for Smart Credit Cards ended on June 30, 2026.

■ Send and receive money with friends using Kotora Remittance
You can send and receive money to and from Kotora-affiliated bank accounts and the Wallet app in Pay. Transfers from BANKIT are free of charge.
*Transfers are possible for amounts used with Smart Credit Card (cash advances) and cash top-ups.

■ Cash withdrawals are also possible
You can withdraw cash from your BANKIT balance at Seven Bank ATMs.
*A fee applies.
*Cash withdrawals are possible for amounts used with Smart Credit Card (cash advances) and cash top-ups.
*Cash withdrawals are not possible for amounts used with Smart Credit Card (shopping).

■ Services that make life a little more convenient, beyond payments
With just the BANKIT app, you can use services such as pay-as-you-go payments equivalent to your salary and lifestyle-related services, and even complete the payments for them.
*This function is available on Android 8.0 and above.

■ Easy management
You can easily check your BANKIT usage status through the app.

Even if you lose your physical card, you can immediately stop its use yourself through the app, so there's no need to report it by phone or go through any other procedures.
