This learning app is designed to help you pass the Building Environmental Sanitation Management Technician (Building Management Specialist) exam. It includes 2,859 past exam questions, allowing you to efficiently study all 7 subjects in your spare time.
◆ What you can do with this app:
1. Includes 2,859 past exam questions:
All 7 subjects are included. The exam consists of 180 questions each year. By working through past questions, you'll internalize the repeatedly tested topics.
2. Explanations for each option:
All five options are marked with ○ or ×, and each is explained, explaining why it's correct and why it's incorrect. This prevents you from simply memorizing the correct answer, allowing you to handle questions even if the wording is slightly altered.
3. Practice divided into 7 subjects:
• Introduction to Building Sanitation Administration
• Building Environmental Sanitation
• Air Environment Control
• Introduction to Building Structure
• Water Supply and Drainage Management
• Cleaning
• Pest Control (Rodents, Insects, etc.)
The subject structure is the same as the actual exam, allowing you to focus on practicing only the subjects you struggle with. 4. Practice Test
Choose from 10, 20, or 30 questions. The 120-second time limit per question is the same as the actual exam (180 questions/6 hours). Since you can narrow the scope of the questions by subject, it can also be used for final preparation before the exam.
5. Review Mode and Learning Analysis
Incorrectly answered questions are automatically accumulated and can be re-solved all at once. You can see the amount of practice, memory freshness, and correct answer rate in graphs, so you won't be confused about what to study next.
6. 163 Lecture Videos, Approximately 50 Hours
The entire content of the 18 chapters of the textbook has been turned into lecture videos. Each video is approximately 18 minutes long, allowing you to progress one section at a time during your commute or breaks. Diagrams, formulas, and legal provisions are explained while being displayed on the screen, and calculation problems are explained step-by-step, starting with the meaning of the formula. You can download them for offline playback, and you can view them in full screen by rotating your device horizontally. The first video of each of the 18 chapters (18 videos in total) are available for trial viewing.
7. Card Collection
Clearing tests earns you cards with building management terminology. There are 100 types in total; collecting them helps you learn important terms.
8. Integration with Web Textbooks
We have published a textbook consisting of 18 chapters, written based on an analysis of past exam questions. It's structured as a single narrative, covering everything from regulations to pest control, and can be accessed directly from the app.
◆ Explanations are based on current laws and regulations.
* Amendments to the Building Environmental Health Management Standards, effective April 1, 2022: The temperature standard was changed to "18°C to 28°C," and the carbon monoxide content was changed to "6 ppm or less."
* Amendments to the Water Quality Standards, effective April 1, 2026: PFOS and PFOA (organic fluorine compounds) became water quality standard items, and a standard value of 0.00005 mg/L (50 ng/L) or less was added for the total amount of both.
* Transfer of Jurisdiction under the Waterworks Act, effective April 1, 2024: Facility development and business operations are now handled by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, while water quality-related affairs are handled by the Ministry of the Environment.
* Amendments to the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations, effective June 1, 2025: Workplace heatstroke prevention measures became mandatory with penalties.
* Effective April 1, 2025 Revision of the Building Energy Conservation Act: Compliance with energy conservation standards is now mandatory for virtually all new buildings.
* Revision of the Office Hygiene Standards Regulations: Illumination standards are now divided into two categories: "300 lux or more for general office work / 150 lux or more for incidental office work."
Past exam questions based on the old standards include the old standard alongside the revised standard, such as "17°C to 28°C before revision." Even when solving multiple years' worth of questions, you won't be confused about which standard is correct now.
