Competitive Karuta ONLINE is an online battle game based on the official rules of Competitive Karuta.
It adopts Karuta cards approved by All-Japan Karuta Association and reading by A-class reciter.
8 A-class reciters voice are recorded.

[Rules]
App reproduced the official rules of Competitive Karuta such as memorization time, dead cards, fouls, sending cards, cards pushing way.
You can push any cards by flick operation.

[VS CPU]
You can change the settings such as CPU levels, Number of cards, memorization time, beginner cards use or not.
The app has 4 CPU levels.

[VS ONLINE]
Ranked matches allow you to play against anyone in the world in real time.
It will be reflected rank system.
You can play for free once a day, and in-game points will be consumed after the second.
If you win the match, you will receive in-game points.

[Private Match]
You can tell friends "PASSWORD" and play against them.

[Analysis]
You can view detailed data such as match history, winning rate, fouls rate, average time.
You will know the time between reading Kimari-ji and taking the card.

[Mini games]
Flash Cards:
This is a game of a practice to speed up memorization.
You think of Kimari-ji and swipe the card.

Branching Cards:
This is a game of Listening and takeing a correct Tomo-fuda.
With two or three Tomo-fuda placed on the territory, take recited card, then elapsed time will be displayed.

I have tried several karuta apps before but this one really makes it feel like you are in an actual match with your opponents cards upside down, the ability to place your own cards, I love it. There is a tutorial for beginners and you can set the cards to show the kimari-ji in red so you know when to grab them. Also, I love it when I hit cards on my tablet and it looks like they are scattered. It makes me feel like I am really playing!

Amazing game! Thoroughly developed so you can start playing even if you haven't memorized the 100 poems yet, to then advance as you get more familiarized. Love the online matches; however would be great if one could contact the opponents aftermatches so you could train together and similar. I know there is the option of sharing a password but can't find the actual way to share with with other players. Other than that, really good app.

The app seems to be great, really well designed, UI is easy and smooth. But I don't understand why you did not put the rules of karuta in it. I'm recently into karuta thanks the Chihayafuru the anime. So I'd like to know more about it so I try apps. I think it'd be better to have everything about karuta into the app. That's a lack of information. Even a description of the galleries options cards display (kimariji, tomofuda) it's not clear when you're a beginner. Add more content description
