About this app

"Hiromil - Fatigue Stress Scan" is an app that measures the state of the autonomic nervous system and objectively examines the fatigue and stress of the brain. Just put your fingertip on the camera of your smartphone and measure it for 60 seconds to display your brain's fatigue and stress.

Autonomic nervous system activity is part of brain activity, and when brain fatigue increases, autonomic nervous system activity decreases. In addition, it is known that when there is stress, the balance of the autonomic nervous system collapses and the sympathetic nervous system becomes overstrained.

This app uses the smartphone camera function (maximum 60Hz upsampling) and the patent on autonomic nerve function evaluation owned by Fatigue Science Laboratory (http://www.fmcc.co.jp/ginfo.html#anc1) We provide brain fatigue and stress that indicate the state of your autonomic nervous system. Please use it as a simple index to understand your health condition.

If you wish to evaluate the function of the autonomic nervous system using a smartphone (mobile phone), please download the above application ("Hiromil - Fatigue Stress Scan"). In addition, please check the application terms of use before using. Regarding the use of the app during the trial period (2 weeks after the start of use), it will be considered that you have agreed to the terms of use as soon as you start using the app.

The usefulness of objective autonomic nerve function evaluation is introduced on the following FMCC website, so please refer to it.

In addition, this service provides easy-to-understand information for the purpose of maintaining and improving health. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease, and is not a substitute for diagnosis by a medical institution.

◎ How to use the app
① Launch the downloaded app "Hiromil - Fatigue Stress Scan" and press the "Measure" button.

(2) Next, check your subjective state (energy, relaxation, amount of activity, motivation, sleep) using the VAS method. Move the circle on the line under the question item (How are you?) to the left or right to tell us about your condition. The left end indicates a state of no energy at all, and the right end indicates a very energetic state. If you move the ○ a little, you will be able to press the "Next" button. Please answer 5 questions in the same way. When you answer the fifth question, a screen will appear where you can enter the time you fell asleep and the time you woke up. Please tell us your own bedtime and wake-up time by moving the ○ on the circle line up, down, left, and right. If you move the ○ a little, the bedtime and wake-up time will be displayed in the center of the circle. After entering, you can press the button "Proceed to measurement".

③In the measurement of the autonomic nervous system, if you put your fingertip on the camera part of the smartphone (please note that it is not the flash part), the image taken by the camera will turn orange, the same color as the sample, and after a while the measurement will be completed. will be started. When it starts, the remaining measurement time and the pulse wave diagram being measured are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

If your fingertip is well on the camera, you'll see a smooth sine wave (curved wave that oscillates up and down in a regular fashion) with very few jaggies or notches on the curve. If the measurement does not go well, please check "Frequently asked questions about smartphone measurement https://www.fmcc.co.jp/faq.html".

Heart rate variability analysis is performed on the pulse measurement results via the server of FMCC Co., Ltd., and the state of your autonomic nervous system is displayed as "brain fatigue" and "stress." The calculation of "brain fatigue" and "stress" utilizes the patent on autonomic nerve function evaluation owned by Fatigue Science Laboratory (http://www.fmcc.co.jp/ginfo.html#anc1). is calculated as

④ "Brain fatigue" and "stress" are displayed as autonomic nerve evaluation results, as well as comments on the results. The comment also mentions the comparison with the previous result, and if you measure more than 30 times, you will also get a bespoke comment compared to your average value.

⑤ In addition, the evaluation results of subjective states related to fatigue and stress are displayed in a visually easy-to-understand pentagonal radar chart format. Together with the autonomic nerve function evaluation results, we provide information that is easy to use for efforts to maintain and improve your health.

The free trial can be used for up to two weeks after starting to use the app. After the trial period ends, you will not be able to use the app, so if you wish to continue, please tap the button for the paid plan (300 yen per month (unlimited usage)) in the app and enter the required information. . In addition, please check the application terms of use before using. When you start using the paid plan, we will assume that you have agreed to the terms of use.

◎ Reliability of autonomic nerve analysis
This app has been created under the supervision of "Visiting Professor Hirohiko Kuratsune, Faculty of Medicine, Osaka Public University", a leading authority on autonomic nervous system research. Simultaneous measurement with the ultra-lightweight wireless biosensor (RF-ECG) "Bonary Light (GMS Co., Ltd.)" that can accurately evaluate the function of the autonomic nervous system by measuring continuous electrocardiograms and repeatedly performing accuracy adjustment We have achieved a positive correlation of 0.9 or more for the heartbeat interval and a positive correlation coefficient of 0.8 or more for the autonomic nerve activity deviation value.

The autonomic nerve function evaluation project that we have been doing so far has been evaluated as the following certified project. We have also published our research results as academic papers, so please refer to them (http://www.fmcc.co.jp/fatigue.html).
