About this app

"RLoad" is a messaging app that prioritizes privacy.
It offers a variety of features, including the ability to delete messages you've sent, the ability to individually mark messages as read, and a convenient directory function.
You can also create a "password-protected directory" to prevent anyone from seeing conversations and photos with specific people.
(Creating a "password-protected directory" can also be used like the "secret mode" on a feature phone.)

This article will mainly introduce the following features.

◆◆01. Deleting Messages
◆◆02. Individually Marking Messages as Read
◆◆03. Directory Function
◆◆04. Group Function
◆◆05. Encryption Support

First, let's talk about "Deleting Messages."

◆◆01. Deleting Messages◆◆

With "RLoad," you can delete messages you've sent at any time from the recipient's device, even if you sent them by mistake.
Even if you delete a message, the recipient's device will not display a "Deleted" message.

◆01-1. Deleting Messages You Sent

To delete a message you sent, press and hold the message you want to delete and tap "Delete." The following options will appear, allowing you to choose what to delete.

① Delete from the Recipient's Device

The selected message will be "deleted from the Recipient's Device." The message will remain on your device.
(Deleted messages will appear with an "X" icon on your device.)

② Delete from My Device

The selected message will be "deleted from your device." The message will remain on the Recipient's device.
(In this case, you will no longer be able to delete the message from the Recipient's device.)

③ Delete from Both Devices

The selected message will be "deleted from both the Recipient's Device and Your Device."

◆01-2. Deleting Messages Received from the Recipient

Messages received from the Recipient can only be "deleted from your device."
The message will be deleted from your device, but will remain on the Recipient's device.

Next, we'll introduce "Individual Read Mark Settings."

◆◆02. Individual Read Receipt Settings ◆◆

In "RLoad," you can individually set the read receipt indicator "ON/OFF" for each person you're talking to.
To display read receipt indicators, set the read receipt indicator "ON" on both devices.
(If only one device has the read receipt indicator "ON," the read receipt indicator will not be displayed.)

◆02-1. Display with Read Receipt Indicators "ON"

If both users have read receipt indicators "ON," a black check mark will appear next to the sent time if the message is unread. It will turn orange if the message is read.

◆02-2. Display with Read Receipt Indicators "OFF"

If either user has read receipt indicators "OFF," no check mark will appear next to the sent time.

Next, we'll look at the "Directory Feature."

◆◆03. Directory Feature◆◆

With "RLoad," you can manage your friends and acquaintances (contacts) by dividing them into multiple directories, allowing for convenient use depending on the type of directory.

◆03-1. Useful Directory Features

You can use the following convenient features.

◎You can create multiple directories, such as a main directory, a work-related directory, or a directory containing everyone.
◎You can freely assign friends and acquaintances to the directories you create. You can also register multiple users in multiple directories.
◎You can easily switch between directories with a swipe on the "Contacts" or "Messages" screen.
◎When you receive a message, you will only be notified of messages from friends, acquaintances, or groups in the directory you are currently viewing.

In addition, you can use the following privacy-conscious features.

◎You can also set a password for a directory. You can set the same password for multiple directories.
◎Directories with a password cannot be viewed without entering the password.
◎Conversations and photos with friends and acquaintances who are only registered in password-protected directories can only be viewed by entering the password to open the directory, so you don't have to worry about your privacy being exposed.
◎When a password-protected list is open, tapping the "X" to the left of the "List Password Entry" area on the "Contacts" or "Messages" screen will hide the password-protected list.
◎Other people will not know whether a password-protected list exists within the app.

◆03-2. Initial List and Adding a List

[Initial List (Star-Marked List)]

RLoad comes with one list pre-installed.
This pre-installed "star-marked" list cannot be deleted.
(You can change the list name.)

[Adding and Duplicating Lists]

To create a list from scratch, select "Add" in the list menu.
You can also create a new list by "duplicating" an existing list.

◆03-3. "Standard List" and "Password-Protected List"

[Standard List (No Password)]

This list is displayed without entering a password.
It will be displayed directly in the "Contacts" and "Messages" screens and in the "Directory Management" list.
You can switch to the "Standard Directory" by swiping on the "Contacts" and "Messages" screens.

[Password Directory]

◎ A "Password Directory" is a directory that cannot be displayed unless you enter a password.
◎ A "Password Directory" will not be displayed even if you swipe.
◎ Conversations and photos with friends and acquaintances who are only registered in the "Password Directory" can only be viewed by entering a password to open the directory, so you don't have to worry about your privacy being revealed.
◎ Only one "Password Directory" can be displayed on the "Contacts" or "Messages" screens.
(You cannot switch to other directories by swiping.)
◎ When a "Password Directory" is open, tapping the "X" to the left of the "Directory Password Entry" area on the "Contacts" or "Messages" screen will hide the password-protected directory.
◎ Password-protected rosters are not visible unless you enter the password, so others will not know whether a password-protected rosters exists within the app.

*Rosters marked with a "star" cannot be password-protected rosters.
*You can set the same password for multiple rosters. If you have set the same password for multiple rosters, entering the password will display a list of all applicable rosters, allowing you to select the rosters you want to open.

Next, we'll look at the "Group Feature."

◆◆04. Group Feature◆◆

In RLoad, you can choose between "with owner privileges" and "without owner privileges" when creating a group.
Groups can be created from the "Contacts" screen of each roster.
To add members yourself, select from friends and acquaintances registered in that roster and "invite" them.

◆04-1. "With Owner Privileges" Groups

A "with owner privileges" group is one in which only the group owner can "add" and "remove" members. Only the group owner can add and remove members, change the group name, edit the main image, and more.

[Transferring Ownership]

The group owner can transfer ownership to another member of the group. In this case, the member who accepts the transfer will become the owner.

[Changing to a Group Without Ownership]

The group owner can change a group with "ownership" to a group without ownership. However, once a group has been changed to a "no-ownership" group, it cannot be changed back to a "with ownership" group.

◆04-2. "No-ownership" Groups

A "no-ownership" group is a group where any member can add and remove members. All members can add and remove members, change the group name, edit the main image, and more.
Note that a "no-ownership" group cannot be changed to a "with ownership" group.

◆◆05. Encryption Supported

"RLoad" strives to ensure security by encrypting all information, including conversation content, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, user photos, and comments.
No one but you and your conversation partner can see the contents of your conversations, not even the administrators of "RLoad." We hope you'll take advantage of this feature.
