By registering "My News," you can easily access it from the home screen and watch news from your area immediately.
■ About Live Broadcasts of Traditional Festivals and Fireworks Displays and Local Information Programs
Utilizing J:COM's network, we deliver high-quality "locally-based" content, such as live broadcasts of traditional festivals, fireworks displays, and major events in each region. Broadcast schedules and details will be announced within the app.
■ About Live Cameras
You can view real-time footage from over 220 coastal and river monitoring and traffic information cameras installed within J:COM's service area.
By registering "My Live Cameras," you can easily view your favorite live cameras from the home screen.
■ About Disaster Prevention Information
You can receive and view disaster prevention information for your registered area.
The disaster prevention information you can receive includes four types: "Earthquake Information," "Volcano Information," "Tsunami Information," and "Weather Information."
You can set up to three registered areas at the prefecture/city/town/village level, plus your current location.
■ About Push Notifications
You can receive disaster prevention information and recommended content even when "Do-Local" is not running.
The information you receive can be customized in detail.
For disaster prevention information, you can set it to "receive only information on earthquakes of magnitude 5 or higher."
*For content that uses current location information, you need to allow "Do-Local" to use current location information in your OS settings.
*To receive push notifications, you need to allow "Do-Local" to use notifications in your OS settings.
*We do not guarantee 100% reception of push notifications. Reception may not be possible depending on the network conditions, and there may be delays.
*Reception of disaster prevention information is based on the target areas included in the information announced by the Japan Meteorological Agency. If you have registered multiple areas, or if your current location is the same as a registered area, you may receive multiple push notifications with the same information.
