About this app
The Shinkin Passbook app allows you to check your account balance and deposit/withdrawal details.
In addition, by using the passbook-less function, you will not need a paper passbook, and you can check the details for up to 10 years.
■ Customers who can use
This applies to individual customers who have a savings account at a Shinkin bank and use a cash card in that account. (You do not need to sign up for internet banking.)
■How to use
For the first registration, please enter your Shinkin bank savings account information (personal information such as branch number and account number), cash card PIN, and set a password to be used with the Shinkin Passbook app.
In addition, with the Shinkin Bankbook app, you can register up to 5 accounts at 1 Shinkin bank and up to 5 Shinkin banks if the account holder has the same name.
■ Available functions
[Function 1: Deposit/withdrawal details inquiry function]
You can inquire about the "deposit balance" and "deposit/withdrawal details" of the account registered in the Shinkin Passbook app.
Deposit/withdrawal details will display the latest 10 transactions from the past 62 days including the inquiry execution date.
[Function 2: Passbook-less function]
・For accounts using the passbook-less function, transactions for the past 10 years, including the date of inquiry, will be displayed.
* Transactions that can be displayed are transactions that have not been recorded in the passbook at the time of contracting the passbook-less function for the first time and transactions after the contract implementation date.
・For each transaction, you can enter a memo of up to 20 characters.
・You can narrow down by specifying conditions such as transaction period and amount.
・Details that have been narrowed down can be output to a CSV file.
[Function 3: General account time deposit transaction function]
・ For accounts that use the passbook-less function, you can deposit and cancel general account time deposits from the app.
*Since the use of the general account time deposit transaction function differs depending on each credit bank, please check with the credit bank you are using for details.
[Function 4: Asset holding inquiry function]
・ You can inquire about the "owned assets" of customers who have registered with the Shinkin Passbook app.
*Use of the asset holdings inquiry function varies depending on each credit bank, so please check with your credit bank for details.
[Function 5: Loss notification function]
・ If you lose the "passbook" and "cash card" for the account registered in the Shinkin passbook app, you can apply for suspension of use.
*Since the use of the loss notification function differs depending on each credit bank, please check with your credit bank for details.
[Function 6: Address change function]
・ You can apply to change the "address" and "phone number" of customers who have registered with the Shinkin Passbook app.
*Since the use of the address change function differs depending on each credit bank, please check with your credit bank for details.
■ Notes
・Communication charges will be incurred separately for using and downloading the Shinkin Bankbook app and using the web, which will be borne by the customer (including communication charges for resetting, etc.).
・Take security measures such as installing security software to prevent your smartphone from being infected by a computer virus or malicious program.
・When using this service, you will not be able to use this service if you enter incorrect input items a certain number of times in succession. If you can no longer use it, please contact your credit union.
・For accounts that use the passbook-less function, you will not be able to make transactions with your passbook at the Shinkin Bank window or ATM.
・If you want to cancel the use of the passbook-less function and reissue a paper passbook, please visit the shinkin bank counter you are using and complete the procedure.
・Sometimes the service may not be available due to system maintenance. Please note.
・For inquiries about accounts registered in the Shinkin Bankbook app, please contact the credit union you are using.
