Underrated product, but it could be so much better. It suits my specific needs (to a point) and the app works as it should. However, it's very disappointing that you can't free up more slots. I never use most of the factory installed effects, so they're just taking up valuable space (they cannot be removed, or replaced).A potentially great product, unnecessarily limited.

I have bought the Boss Plugout FX. First, the pedal wouldn't connect. Fair enough, did a firmware update. Needs an extra Windows computer. After the update, only authentication errors with the pedal. Unable to load any effects. Boss's inability to create seamless user experiences is sad. Thank God for the return policies of stores. if you want to sell this stuff to me, make sure you know how to program the apps for it. The Katana app is just as bad.

7/10/26 update connection restored. we're back! A good initial app version for a DYNAMITE pedal. Ignore the uninformed online racket about the PX-1. It's a powerhouse and ridiculous value. Looking forward to new pedal releases!!! ----------old review--------- This app no longer works on my Google pixel 10. One star until the bug is fixed. When I'm attempting to log in I receive a communication error that cannot be dismissed. ---------- old review---------
