For a company as about the sound as v Moda, this app is not as robust as I expected (compared too Jaybird, for instance). It isn't noted anywhere that I saw, but you have to have the headphones connected to get past the initial spinning circle. Edit: now the app on new Sony phone won't connect. Had to use old LG phone to update firmware on the headphones. They have a USBC connection; just let us update them on the website. This app is terrible.

They are certainly better at making headphones than they are at making applications. Aside from that, the headphones are heavy, uncomfortable, and very expensive. I've put these headphones down at this point and primarily use my Sony over the ear headphones. The only reason I picked these vmoda back up after they sat in a box for two years, is because I remembered they support AptX codec. However, knowing that the app has zero functionality and won't even launch, not having an EQ sucks. Fix itVM

The app experience needs a lot of work. First, having an in app "paired devices" list would make the multi use function better. I've had to repair to use w my computer and phone several times. Also for a day or two now the app will not load my headphones to adjust ANC levels. Edit: reinstalling app is a temporary fix
