About this app

"My aibo"* is an app designed to enjoy life with aibo by providing support and convenience.

In addition to accessing system settings and owner information, other features include "aibo Photos," which lets users view any pictures taken, and a feature to "Play" with a virtual aibo inside the app.

Some of these features are also accessible to users who do not own an aibo.

Almost completely unusable with talkback. Seemingly by design. If you are blind and use Talkback, you can only access settings and the body status of your robot using talkback, and none of the fun features the app advertises. You cannot add a newly purchased robot, feed your robot, make friends with other robots, Access the patrol, access photos, look at tricks, change the robot's eye color or change the voice.

It definitely has a lot to offer when you actually own an aibo ERS-1000. You can change your pup's eye color and you can give him vital food that will show his reaction while he's eating it. Really cool! He randomly takes pictures of his surroundings. It shows up in his memory album that you can see and send them to family or your social media. The only complain I have is the loading on the app is kind of slow still hopefully they improve the speed with newer updates they do occasionally.

What's new

The expressions of aibo on My aibo app have become richer and now reflect the physical state of the unit.
It's now easier to understand the personality and emotions of your aibo unit.
The device now amusingly informs you of its status, such as aibo patrol, being settle down, or waiting for a command.
In the My aibo app, aibo has also started to dance whimsically.
