About this app

WeatherJapan is a simple application which shows weather information for Japan (provided by Japan Weather Association) for use by tourists.
Users can quickly display weather information for their current location as well as information for surrounding areas.

* All dates and times displayed in this application are in Japan Standard Time.

■Detailed Forecast Screen
- Hourly weather forecasts for up to 48 hours in the future (weather conditions, temperature).
- Easy to understand visual temperature graph.
- Display for sunrise/sunset times.
- Daily forecasts for up to one week in the future (weather conditions, temperature).
- Display of weather information for the user's current location or a nearby location chosen from the Surrounding Area Forecast screen.

■Surrounding Area Forecast Screen
- Display of weather information for surrounding areas on the map (weather conditions, temperature).
- Users can also search for a location by name from the area list.
- By selecting a location, users can view the forecast information for that area.

■Additional Information
- Supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit. This can be changed within the app options as well.

Ratings and reviews

I've been using this app for a while, and it's a fantastic alternative for folks who can't get Yahoo天気 on their phone. (Like me.) Unlike most other weather apps available, WeatherJapan gets its data straight from the Japan Weather Association, so I've found that even with how surprising Japan's weather can get, this app is generally more accurate than others. I do hope it sees some UI/UX changes, since you have to scroll to see tomorrow's forecast, but otherwise it's a great weather app.

Good informal app but the controls on the map are really bad.. Whenever I try to move left or right or zoom in or out the side window opens

Accurate weather forecast for Japan, but the In-App Map is not usable. When you slide left or right the map does not move but instead you switch to an other Page in the Aop. This is a joke...
