This is software that converts the Japanese era (Wareki) to the Gregorian calendar year. The Japanese era calendar scheme is a common calendar scheme used in Japan, which identifies a year by the combination of the Japanese era name.

You can change the Japanese era, era year, Gregorian calendar year, or age. When one value is changed, the other three are automatically updated. For example, setting the age to 30 automatically changes the values to Heisei 8 and 1996. Conversions are supported from the first year of the Meiji era (1868). The displayed age is the age as of January 1 of the selected year.
