Nice, clean, and straightforward. A 5 second ad might come up after a game is over, but that's it, plus the small bar ad that I barely notice. All in all, not bad. I've only played against the AI so far which is challenging even at low levels, but that's good. Also this is my first time learning shogi, and I'm having fun so far.

Would be better if there was an option to customise the handicap to select which pieces are missing e.g. which rook to remove from the board, then we can set our own challenges to try to beat. Would also like computer forfeiting to be an option to turn off as i like to play the whole game through to the end.

As an American who is living abroad in Eastern Europe it is even harder to find a partner to play shogi with and this app has so many great features. The A.I. is a little weak but I get to play. I also love the go app from this company. I just wish that they would now do the Chinese and Korean versions of chess xiangqi and jianggi.
