Handy Guitar Lab for G2 FOUR is a remote-control app specifically designed for the ZOOM G2 FOUR / G2X FOUR EFFECTS & AMP EMULATOR.
With the app, you can download new effects, and manage which effects are installed on the device.
You can also view and download new patches, customize the patch list on the device and create backups for safekeeping.
The app gives you the ability to edit existing patch memories as well as create new patches from scratch.
The app will let you know when firmware updates are available and install them for you if you choose.
The app supports TalkBack to provide accessibility for the visually impaired.

[Edit: drop to 2 stars. It keeps crashing then takes a long time to reconnect.] This app works for the B2 Four as well. Just got it; so far so good. Only four stars because it sometimes takes a long time to connect or won't connect without restarting the app (Android Pixel 3a) and/or the B2 Four. Once connected it works great.

Poor user experience. In the IOs verson apparently you can select multiple files to import to pool. On Android version you only can import patches one by one, and there is no way you can move them into folders after import. Also it disconnects randomly and you cannot manage your pool without being physically attachet to the pedal. Very frustrating. Barely helps in backing up your patches.

App is unusable, it constantly crashes while I'm going through the tone's or trying to change settings in editor. Please make the G2 Four X usable in the PC version! Good pedal, bad app. Makes me want to return the damn thing but it sounds too good to return it lol. I get that it's new and it takes time to get the kink's out..
