Solfe brings the study and the practice of music together: theory, plus the solfège side — ear training, sight-singing and rhythm — all in one place, at your own pace.
- Music theory: 14,000+ questions across 8 categories (intervals, key signatures, scales, rhythm, terms, chords, transposition, score analysis), every one with a careful explanation. Notation questions are rendered on a real staff, with a keyboard diagram in the explanation.
- Solfège: ear training, sight-singing, and rhythm. Exercises are generated on the fly, so the training never runs out. Sight-singing grades your pitch and timing on the device — your voice never leaves your phone.
- Ask about a question: when an explanation doesn't land, ask about that question directly. Answers are grounded in the question, its answer, and the notation.
- Today: the home screen picks what to do next - review that is due, or the level you are working through - plus one solfège exercise for when you can use your voice.
- Review: spaced repetition (SRS) remembers what you solved and brings it back right before you forget.
- Practice exam: 20 questions in 20 minutes, modelled on the structure of Japanese music high school and conservatory entrance exams.
Free plan: every question is open - all categories and all levels, up to conservatory entrance level - with 5 sessions a day (a session is 10 questions in theory or ear training; one exercise in sight-singing). Every explanation, score, and keyboard stays visible, and spaced repetition works with a 30-question queue.
