That incredible promise we made when we were young, a distant memory.
Time has passed and I have been using new magic for 38 years. Whether or not they knew about the boy's wish, the world was shaken by the presence of a "witch" who was once again observed.
Yuji Ichijo is an ordinary boy who aims to become a "magician" in order to fulfill a promise he made when he was young.
The boy decides to enter a magic school and takes the magic selection exam. However, even though he achieved top marks in the written and practical exam results, he was recognized as a ``failed'' for the simple but clear reason that he ``didn't have the knowledge to be a wizard.''
However, in the subsequent re-examination, he was approved to transfer as a special case, and was transferred to Maiarenus Magic Academy six months later. There, young boys and girls with excellent magical abilities are living at a school in preparation for the coming resurrection of witches.
