Ramen Radar is a map app for finding ramen shops by the style of the bowl. Tonkotsu, shoyu, miso, shio, tsukemen, abura-soba, mazesoba, chuka-soba, tantanmen, Yokohama iekei, Jiro-style — narrow down by whatever you are in the mood for.

Shops outside Japan are first-class entries, not an afterthought. Ramen has become a local food in dozens of countries, and this maps that spread rather than treating it as a Japan-only subject.

About our data

Shop addresses are verified against official sources, and map pins are placed at the actual premises. Shops confirmed closed or relocated are updated.

We reviewed every listed shop. Shops confirmed closed or relocated were replaced with their current locations, and listings we could not verify were removed (113 shops now). Photos now come only from each shop's official website, and ratings are shown as editorial ratings. Search also matches Japanese shop names. Location permission is requested only when you tap the current-location button.
