About this app

"Shinrei Spot GO" is an app that lets you easily find over 7,000 haunted locations nationwide by prefecture, your current location, or on a map.

It features "Proximity Detection," which lets you know if you've unknowingly passed near a haunted location, and a "Ghost Detection Radar," which displays the location and type of nearby spirits in a radar-like format.

It links with the "National Haunted Map" website, allowing you to continuously reflect newly added and updated spot information in the app.

You can enjoy searching in various ways, such as checking your neighborhood or looking for interesting places while browsing a map.

■ Automatic recording and notification of approach to haunted locations

When proximity detection is enabled, it automatically records when you pass near a haunted location.

■ Ghost Detection Radar

Displays the location, type, and danger level of nearby spirits in a radar-style display.

The radar rotates according to your smartphone's orientation, allowing you to enjoy checking which direction the radar is detecting activity in.

It can also detect spirits moving around and provides guidance depending on the situation.

If a spirit is nearby, you can even enjoy taking photos with the ghost detection camera.

Spirits may not appear in the same location depending on the time of day.

This app is an entertainment app intended for searching and viewing information about haunted spots.

We do not recommend visiting or entering the locations listed.

Please do not trespass on private property or restricted areas, enter dangerous places, or engage in any behavior that may disturb nearby residents.

The ghost detection radar is an entertainment feature based on the haunted spot information within the app and does not actually detect the presence of spirits or paranormal phenomena.

Location information and proximity history used for proximity detection and the ghost detection radar are processed within your device and are not transmitted to or stored on the National Haunted Map server.
