About this app

●About the Specific DTC Inquiry App
This business application was developed to support the "OBD Inspection," which will be added to vehicle inspections starting in October 2024. Primarily used by workers and inspectors at automotive repair shops, it checks whether a vehicle is subject to OBD inspection and communicates with an OBD inspection server to determine whether the inspection passes or fails.
This app obtains diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from the vehicle's onboard electronic control unit (ECU), sends them to the OBD inspection server, and determines whether the DTC corresponds to a specific trouble code (DTC that does not comply with safety standards).

●About OBD Inspection
This inspection verifies the proper functioning of electronic control units related to autonomous driving technology, emissions control, and other technologies. It will be introduced as a national vehicle inspection item.
