is it using the built-in Google settings on your phone to do the voice search and if so it is will it upgrade to Gemini

This just never works it never has and years later it still doesn't work. If you disable the app it still interrupts you with hey turn me on notifications it's a pain.

I hate it. The original voice search app was a single click. Now I click it, and it takes me to another page before I can ask my question. I HATE IT!!!
