Smartphone
1: When you hold your smartphone horizontally and launch the app, a dialog box requesting “Access to Camera” will pop up after the logo appears. At this point, be sure to tap ‘OK’ to grant permission. Do not tap “Don't Allow.” If you accidentally tap “Don't Allow,” you will no longer be able to select menu options. In that case, please delete the app and reinstall it.

2: When the menu appears next, place your smartphone into the DanGura. Adjust and secure the position of the Velcro tape so the “tongue” part firmly holds the smartphone in place, preventing it from slipping out.
※You can experience it using just your smartphone by setting it to AR mode and single-lens mode.

3: When you look through the DanGura, the menu will be displayed in front of you. Rotate your body to the left on the spot to align the [Screen size] menu on the left edge of the screen with the “spherical cursor visible in the center of the screen,” then tap the DanGura's right button (hereafter referred to as “select”). The screen will switch to the compatible device list. Select your smartphone model, then select [Decision] to confirm the device.

4: If the menu is not fully visible or appears tilted, tap the left button to reposition it directly in front of you.

5: Once back at the main menu, select the [MR], [VR], or [AR] menu you wish to experience to start play.

6: During play, tapping the left button on DanGura anytime will display the menu. The functions and roles of DanGura's left/right buttons and each menu displayed on screen are as follows.

※ If the character (Unity-chan) does not appear in front of you after play starts, rotate your body in place to find it. To change the front position, face that direction and restart the app.

※ The dialog box pop-up appears only during the first launch immediately after app installation; it will not display on subsequent launches.


【DAN GRA Left/Right Buttons】※ When using only the smartphone: [Lower-left △ icon] and [Lower-right △ icon] on the screen

［Left Button］Press during play (when no menu is displayed on screen) to pop up the menu. Press while the menu is displayed to reposition it directly in front of you.

[Right Button] Functions while the menu is displayed. Rotate your body left or right to bring the desired menu item directly in front of you. Press the button when the spherical cursor aligns with it to confirm.

【Screen Display Menu】

［Screen size］Select from smartphone sizes

※To match the smartphone display to the mirror or lens size, the screen display will be relatively scaled down as the smartphone's LCD size increases

［Two eyes/Single eye］Switch between monocular and binocular modes

［System menu］Goes to the basic (System) menu screen where you can select MR/VR/AR, IPD, ScreenSize, etc.

［IPD］Software-corrects the interpupillary distance

［MR］Mixed Reality mode: Overlays live footage seen through the half-mirror onto background images

［VR］Virtual Reality mode: Displays 3D-rendered images for both characters and backgrounds

［AR］Augmented Reality mode: Overlays live video from your smartphone camera onto the background image.

［Startup setting］(Reserved menu for developers)

［Decision］Confirms the last selected menu and advances to the next screen.

［Restart］Returns to the initial screen (menu) after app launch.

【Important Notes】
・Do not use this app on public roads or in crowded areas.
・Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure safety.
・Do not point the device toward the sun.
・Individuals under 13 years old, whose visual development is ongoing, should not use binocular mode.
