About this app

Just a diary. Nothing else.

No ads. No notifications. No streaks. No AI writing back to you.
It never nags you to write, and it says nothing when you finish.

■ Works with no network

On a plane, underground, anywhere with no signal — you write exactly as always.
So does reading back, adding photos, and searching by words.
There is no loading screen, because your diary is already on your device.
There is nowhere to go and fetch it from.

■ Where your entries live

On your device, and nowhere else. There is no developer server,
so there is no route by which your entries could reach anyone.
It connects only when you press "Save a copy now" or "Restore".
The destination is the app-data folder of your own Google Drive.
It holds permission for that one folder and nothing else — it cannot even
list the other files in your Drive. The developer cannot see the contents.

■ Take all of it with you, anytime

Export everything, as often as you like. What comes out is
plain text, JSON and images, so it can be read without this app.
Changing phones is just importing that file on the new one.
The same file works between Android and iPhone.

If you don't like it, take your diary and go.

■ One payment

Pay once at the start, and that is the end of it.
There is no monthly fee, and nothing you can do today
moves behind a paid tier tomorrow.

■ What it does

- Saved as you write
- Search everything you have written, by the words in it
- Passcode and fingerprint unlock, if you want them
- Five looks, or follow the device

■ One thing we ask

A diary that lives only on your device is a diary you lose
when you lose the device. Export it to a file now and then,
and keep that file somewhere other than the device.
With this design, that is the one sure safeguard.
