About this app

It is a digital membership card application of Japan Mountain Rescue Organization jRO. If you are already a member, you can use it without a card by downloading and registering for use!

To use it as a digital membership card, you must already be a member of jRO. If you are not a member, you cannot start registration. Please register for use after joining.

* For new members and those who have changed the registration of member information, it will take about 1 week to 10 days until the application registration is completed or the change is reflected.

■ Operating environment
Android OS 6.0 and above

■ Required permissions
Access location services to manually send an email containing the coordinates of your location. Confirm the permission at the first use. The location information is accessed only when the app is in the foreground, and the location is not acquired in the background.

■ Registration
If you are a member, please register for use after installing the app. When you start the app, you will see two blue buttons on the screen.

1. 1. Click the "Registration" button.

2. If you registered your e-mail address when you applied for membership, please press "Register using only your e-mail address". If you have not registered your e-mail address or do not know your e-mail address, please press "Register by membership number or name".

3. 3. When registering with an email address, please enter your email address and new password. Please enter it twice to prevent mistakes. Make a note of the password somewhere so that you do not forget it. Click the "Send" button to register.

* If an error occurs
・ You cannot register with an e-mail address that has already been registered and has been authenticated by e-mail. If you have forgotten your password, please click the "Forgot Password" button when logging in.
・ If the password is too simple, you will not be able to register. Please set at least 8 single-byte alphanumeric characters.

4. If the registration is successful, a "confirmation email" will be sent to the registered email address.

5. Click the link in the email you received to complete the verification.
* If you do not receive the email
-Check your junk mail folder.
・ Check if you have refused to receive PC mail.
・ The email address may have been incorrect. Please double check.

■ Login procedure
1. 1. Launch the jRO app and press the "Login" button.

2. After moving to the login screen, enter the e-mail address and password you entered when registering for use and press the "Login" button. You can log in if your email address and password are correct. The e-mail address at the time of login will be memorized and will be automatically entered from the next time onwards.

* What if I forget my password?
Press the "Forgot Password" button below the close button. You will receive an email to reset your password. Open your email, open the link provided and enter your new password.

If you can log in successfully, the expiration date, membership number, and name will be displayed. After logging in, you can display your membership information even if you go offline, so you can show your membership card even at mountain lodges outside the mobile range. (However, you need to be logged in once at an online location. If possible, make sure you can log in while you are in the city.)

■ Send your current location email
Select "Send location" on the tab at the bottom of the screen to switch to the screen for sending location information.

You can email the latitude and longitude of your current location. If you send it to your family and friends at the beginning, middle, and end of the mountain climbing, it will be a clue to search in the event of a distress.

If an error occurs
-Turn on location services and allow the app to use it.
・ Cannot be sent until the accuracy of location information is improved. Please wait for a little while. It may take some time in valleys and buildings.

If you enter the address of your family and friends in the destination email address, you can send your current location quickly without having to enter the address every time. You can also send to multiple addresses by separating them with a single-byte comma.
