This game has a long way to go. The biggest reasons why I won't be playing this over others: 1. Enemy visibility is terrible (dark enemies on dark background with super bright abilities and experience points). 2. The player hitbox is bad (you get hit when the enemy is still a fair distance away from you). 3. Also needs a sound effect for when you get hit. These are definitely not the only issues, but they're the ones I would focus on first.

I really wanna like this game. The art is gorgeous. It's grounded enough to be sleek and cool, but its use of bright colors and distinct outlines make the action visually interesting and easy to read. I have two major problems, though. The lack of access to numbers makes it difficult to evaluate your stats. You see changes made by upgrades, but not the starting or current totals for things like damage and cool down times. Secondly, hitboxes are very unclear. Most deaths so far feel undeserved.

It's a great survivor game, music is great, runs smooth, cool character designs, and combat feels fair. It's different from other survivor games in that the exp or drops will expire if you dont loot it. If you don't move, your character will perform more powerful attacks, but the expiring drops leave little incentive to stand still. The game is still leagues above some of the other games out there. No 100$ microtransactions just to progress. Ads are minimal or cheap to get rid of entirely.
