・If you are using Internet Banking for the first time, you will need to register your login password and email address after launching the app.
・Please refer to the notes on using the smartphone app on the Mitsubishi UFJ Bank website before using the app.
・If you root your device even once, the app may not launch or function properly.

・To use biometric authentication, you must log in to the app and register for use.

・If you are using a smartphone running Android 10 or earlier, your phone number will be collected upon login and stored and used within our bank for enhanced security.

Ratings and reviews

I only installed the app because of the one-time password functionality, but reading through the verbose Japanese instructions it turns out that you cannot use it when you are abroad (which is not rare if you're an expat), making it pretty useless to me. I also don't like that the app makes a list of all your installed apps. I understand that it's done for security reasons, but it sounds like a big invasion of privacy if that list is being sent to a server somewhere!

Just awful in every way. Signing up on the app is just about impossible if you have a foreign name. Furthermore, the app doesn't allow Google to interact with it, so I can't translate the UI, and I can't take screenshots to translate that way as well. I only use this app because I have no other options with my workplace.

Very bad software. Numerous independent security layers that force you to remember at least 4 passwords until the next, easily auto-locks itself (the support online being available after an infinity of menus, and only in Japanese); bad ergonomy, not aesthetic, and many, many bugs. I still haven't succeeded in registering my credit card; I went to a local branch where we spent 1 hour calling a phone number without figuring out the problem. The card works, I just cannot pay back... Incredibly bad.
